Teenage Girl Tears It Up On A Banjo With Bluegrass Hit

The young girl jams to Foggy Mountain Breakdown with a group of men decades her senior. Their bluegrass jam session catches the eyes and ears of a crowd of people but she pays no notice pouring all her focus into her instrument.

Five-string banjos are the most commonly used in bluegrass and have been around since the 1890s. The banjo is utilized widely in country, folk, Irish traditional, and bluegrass music. The instrument is considered highly traditional so it’s refreshing to such a young girl operate at such an expert level on it.
