Insanely Creative Cover Band Nails Hit Song, When Girl Turns Around She Takes It To Another Level.

Released in late July, “Closer” quickly peaked at number-one on the U.S. charts as well as in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. And not only are people listening to the song, they’re creating hundreds of dance videos featuring the song and cover videos.

A YouTube search for ‘”Closer” Chainsmokers’ yields over 2 million results, and literally hundreds of those videos are covers. Yet, out of all of the talented people who are tackling this massive hit, one group stands out: Walk Off The Earth.

We’ve told you before about Walk Off The Earth’s amazing Adele cover, featuring a surf board, tap shoes, sound hoses, and more. Well Walk Off The Earth is back again with another creative cover!

The Chainsmokers themselves posted Walk Off The Earth’s video with the enthusiastic caption, “WE AREN’T WORTHY OF THIS COVER.” What an awesome compliment! The video has nearly 4 million views in just 15 hours along with 16,000 comments from raving fans. The Chainsmokers commented as well, added “the kazoo part is game over.” You have to watch the video to see what they mean… But we definitely agree!
