This Dad’s Reaction To His Son’s New Doll Just Set The Standard For Fathers Everywhere!

This dad is leading the way and setting the standard for dads, mums, sisters, brothers and well, everyone, to accept our children for who they are, irrespective of their gender and irrespective of their choices.
This father, Mikki Willis, could have reacted in one of many ways when he took his son, Azai, to the toy store to exchange a birthday present. Azai opted for a Little Mermaid Doll over something more ‘macho’. “Now how do you think a dad feels when his son wants to get this?” asked Mikki. If Ross from Friends‘ reaction to his son Ben’s decision to buy a Barbie and not a G.I. Joe is anything to go by, you’d imagine he’d be kicking off.
However, instead of making a fuss and urging him to go for a Batman or Marvel creation he embraced his son’s choice. In fact, he didn’t give a shit about what was stereotypically the ‘correct’ because “I let my boys choose their life.”
Willis states, in the below video that he posted to Facebook, that he loves his boys and accepts “whatever life” they choose. Both him and his wife “just say whatever…just say ‘Yeah’”.
