These Guys Are Changing The Way People Drink Water & The World NEEDS To See It Now!

Access to clean drinking water is unfortunately still a huge problem in developing countries that we are far from solving. As an attempt to help minimize this problem, MIT is using a remote village in Mexico as base-test for a system that could revolutionize this scenario. Located in the jungle of Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula, the village of La Mancalona received from MIT a water purification system that uses solar energy as its main power source. This is the first time a system like this has been installed anywhere in the world.
