Prince Harry Just Challenged Usain Bolt To A Race. And Proved Again Why We Love Him So Much!

Usain Bolt is one of the most impressive runners of all time. He has set world records and has received over 30 medals, nine of which are from the Olympics! He has become a household name all around the world for his unbelievable accomplishments in the sport.

All things considered, Bolt is one of those athletes that would put any of us to shame if you were to challenge him. However, Prince Harry is one brave soul who decided to go head-to-head in a race against Bolt.

Price Harry tweeted the famous athlete on his 30th birthday wishing him well and added a small challenge to one day meet up and race! His tweet said, “Congratulations @usainbolt – now you’re officially the greatest you might be ready for a re-run! Happy 30th –H.”

The tweet was referring to a race back in 2012 which did not go exactly as planned for the all-star runner. Bolt responded, “Let’s do it. Respect for the bday wishes.”

So when Prince Harry was visiting Jamaica for the Queen’s 60 years on the throne anniversary tour they planned the race. The two took off running, but obviously, Harry knew Usain would beat him by a landslide so he decided to play dirty!

The young prince cheated! Technically Harry “won” the race, but not without a trick to trip up the gold medalist. Harry took off on a false start purposefully in order to gain a huge lead on Usain.

While obviously cheating, Harry knew this would be his only chance at victory.

The video of the two is hilarious. Clearly Usain is a good sport about the cheating Prince Harry, and both knew it was all in good fun!

Watching Harry cross the finish line first might be the only chance we will ever get to see Usain lose, even if it wasn’t totally legitimate.
