Royce Thompson of Santa Fe, New Mexico was a little late getting to school the other day, but he didn’t let that stop him from doing something that made his mom, Heather, whip out the camera with pride. She shared the patriotic moment on Facebook where it’s going viral.

Apparently, Royce had been running up the walkway to the school when suddenly he stopped just outside the entrance. Unbeknownst to his mom, the kids inside had started to recite the Pledge of Allegiance.
