A cafeteria worker is heartbroken after she was forced to quit her job as a result of an overly strict school lunch policy.

Stacy Koltiska knew on the first day of school that the Canon-McMillan, Pa. school district had passed a new policy that prevents cafeteria workers from serving a hot meal to any student with a balance over $25. But she wasn’t prepared for the overwhelming guilt that she would feel every time she had to turn a student away.

“As a Christian, I have an issue with this,” said Koltiska. “It’s sinful and shameful is what it is.”
