If so, you’ll be boweled over by the news that there is a place where you can now enjoy poop and food together — the new Poop Café Dessert Bar in Toronto, Canada.

2. Crappy puns aside, there really is a café set to open mid-August in Toronto’s Koreatown

And not surprisingly, it will be the first-ever poop-themed dessert business in North America.

3. The café will be outfitted with poop décor, including toilet seats for patrons to sit on in lieu of chairs.

What, they couldn’t spring for a throne or stools?

4. At any rate, there will be a variety of poopy desserts to be enjoyed out of creative containers.

5. While it’s new around here, toilet-themed restaurants have been trending in parts of East and South Asia for some time.

6. Including those where entrées and desserts are served in tiny toilets, like this one in Taipei, Taiwan

7. In fact, Poop Cafe owner Lien Nguyen was inspired to bring the concept to Canada after a trip to Taiwan.

8. It stayed in my mind for a long time. As soon as I finished school, I said, ‘OK, I’m going to bring the restaurant to Toronto.

9. She added that she’s “trying to make poop cute” and hopes people will “change their minds about poo.”
