When They Found This Little Foal Alone In The Cold, He Was Dying, Watch What His Rescuers Did Next!

This is the incredible story of a little foal who was left all alone, to die a slow and painful death on the side of a road in Essex. The poor little baby wasn’t even able to lift its tiny head, much less walk around on its own.

The foal was badly dehydrated, had a terrible case of lice and he was also suffering with hypothermia and pneumonia.

The foal was named Gizmo when he was found on the side of Yeldham Road, Ridgewell, which is near Ridgewell Caravan Park.

When his rescuers found him, he was taken right away to the Catley Cross Veterinary Clinic where they immediately administered a drip, gave him antibiotics and tenderly nursed him back to health with round the clock care.

Even though little Gizmo is still weak, he’s slowly recovering and he can thank all of the horse lovers who donated close to $20,000 towards his care!

When his rescuers found him, it was plain to see that the little horse had been deliberately left to die, but the RSPCA came to his aid thanks to the abundant and generously over-pouring response from the public.

A volunteer with the RSPCA, Sarah Elmy, says that Gizmo is still just skin and bones, and has a difficult time standing on his own, but the little foal has a determined and strong will to fight and he will win life! 🙂

We’re all hoping that sweet Gizmo continues to recover and also that authorities are able to find the monster responsible for the unnecessary, inhumane and cruel pain inflicted on this poor baby!
