Dad’s 19-Year-Old Daughter Lifted His Burning Truck Off Of Him Before Help Arrived

Firefighters everywhere are constantly saving and protecting our lives from unexpected tragedies. Whether it’s a fire or a car accident, they’re on the scene and ready to put their life on the line.

Many times, that can mean saving someone else’s life and sacrificing their own.

The situations they find themselves in are often unexpected and definitely not ideal.

And the Heffelmire family just ran into a similar situation.

When 19-year-old Charlotte Heffelmire went into her garage, she found her dad in an unexpected and extremely dangerous situation.

His truck had slipped off of its jack, started leaking gasoline, and a fire had erupted. He was stuck beneath it.

Her first instinct was to attempt to lift this GMC pickup truck off of him in order to save his life.

And she did much more than attempt. She actually did lift the truck off of her father.

In the video below, you can see the damage that the fire did to their garage. You see the size of this young woman and the superhuman strength hidden inside of her, and you see her dad’s grateful eyes as they speak to the cameramen.

The fact that she tried to lift the truck is brave enough. Actually lifting it and saving her father’s life? Absolutely incredible. This girl deserves that lifesaving award and more.
