Al Roker Loses His MIND Over Ryan Lochte 2016 Olympic Scandal, Gives EPIC Rant. “HE LIED.”

United States swimmer Ryan Lochte has been a hot topic in the media recently, and it’s not because of his athletic performance at the Olympics. Rather, everyone has been discussing the international scandal that started with his fabricated story about him and three other U.S. Olympic swimmers being robbed at gunpoint in Rio.

A heated new video came out where Al Roker, Natalie Morales, and Billy Bush sat down to debate what they felt Lochte’s real intentions were with the whole scandal. They also discussed what his consequences should be for lying to the world about what really happened at that gas station where Lochte claimed he and his teammates were involved in an armed robbery.

It is important to note that Lochte himself stated in an interview with NBC, “I over-exaggerated that story and if I had never done that we wouldn’t be in this mess.”

In the interview found in the video below, Roker clearly thought Lochte saying he “over-exaggerated” was the nice version of the story to protect Lochte’s image. Roker passionately said, “He lied. He lied to you, he lied to Matt Lauer, he lied to his mom, and he left his teammates hanging while he skedaddled.”

Morales went a slightly different direction with her criticism on Lochte. She stated, “What he did was embarrassing.” She later said she thinks Lochte owes the Brazilian people an apology.

Bush came to the defense of Lochte much to the frustration of Roker, Morales and many viewers. He explained how the situation could have been confusing to Lochte and that Lochte and his teammates simply “over-embellished” the events that occurred.

After you view this heated debate on a scandal that the whole world has witnessed given the international nature of the Olympic games, please let us know your thoughts! Do you agree with Roker, Morales, or Bush?

Despite what really happened, Lochte made sure to put out a statement that he is “110% sorry.” It sounds like many people, including Roker and Morales, do not think that is enough!
