20 Years After Princess Diana’s Death, Prince William Reveals How Her Death STILL Affects Him EVERY DAY.

Twenty years ago, when Princess Diana died in that horrific car crash, the world was in shock. A beautiful young lady had captured hearts all over the globe with her life story and rise throughout the monarchy.

Her looks, personality and utter charm went on to dominate the news pages for quite awhile.

She and Prince Charles brought two children into the world, being Prince William and Prince Harry. The men have had to deal with the loss of their Mother for nearly their entire lives.

Prince William was 15 and Prince Harry was just 12 when their mom passed. It was a terrible thing for any young person to go through let alone doing it with the eye of the world upon you.

The princes have handled the situation about as well as anyone could be expected to handle it. They’ve used the incident to help others. They help by setting examples of how to deal with such a terrible loss.

Recently, Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge went to the Keech Hospice care Center in Luton. There they met a family that also had a tragic loss.

The husband and his three boys conversed with Prince William about the loss of their wife and mom. The lady had died from cancer and the family was having difficulty dealing with the situation. They were at the center on that day for grief counseling.

Prince William has walked in their shoes. He knew what it was like to lose the person closest to you.

Fourteen-year-old Ben Hines was especially having a tough time. The Prince put his hand on Ben’s shoulder and told him after 20 years it still hurts for him. He said you need to talk as a family, and it’s okay to be sad.

His comforting words acknowledged it’s okay to miss her. The conversation really helped the family and Ben. His Dad Gary said, “They meant the world to Ben.” He gave Ben “his full attention” and you could tell Ben’s sorrow really hit home with Prince William.

What a wonderful thing for Prince William to do. The 16-year-old who had to grow up way too quickly has certainly learned how to make good come out of tragedy.

He continues to help others through his own sorrow continues. His mom would be so proud of the man he has become.
