An Ohio State Highway Patrol Officer is being hailed a hero after saving a truck driver’s life after the semi-truck crashed into an embankment near Piqua, Ohio. The chilling and powerful scene was captured on dash cam video, as trooper Eric Devers tries to give CPR to the unconscious driver.“In speaking with the family, medical personnel and witnesses at the scene, it is apparent the quick actions of Trooper Devers helped save the driver’s life,” OSHP wrote. Devers of the Piqua Post received a Certificate of Recognition for his actions while responding to the crash.
