This Country Star’s Version Of The National Anthem Is So Intense You’ll Feel It In Your Bones

The national anthem can cause an involuntary physical reaction in many proud Americans. Whether it’s tears in their eyes, goose bumps or the hair on their arms standing up, it’s most certainly a sign that they have been moved by the intensity of the music. The emotion is especially amplified when it is sang exactly 15 years to the day after the tragic 9/11 attacks on New York’s World Trade Center. Then add to that one of the most recognizable voices in country music and the national anthem becomes a moment to remember. On. Sept. 11 of this year, the San Diego Chargers were in Kansas City to take on the Chiefs. Prior to kick-off, the military color guard presented the flag of the United States of America, and Trace Adkins stepped up to the microphone.

A true patriot with a passion for American history, our country’s military, and simply doing the right thing, the long-legged country boy from Sarepta, Louisiana pulled off his black cowboy hat, placed it over his chest and began to sing.
