The Internet Has Fallen In Love With This Cop Playing Pokemon Go With A Local Kid

The tension between police and civilians is at an all time high with the heightened publicity on recent shootings. We’re becoming more and more distrustful of the po-po, which is a shame because at the end of the day, they’re supposed to be here to protect and serve us.

Unfortunately, every time a racist cop steps out of line, the whole force suffers. Potential violence against cops escalates, which in turn makes officers who are total jerks become even more violent against civilians and it’s just a vicious cycle of disgusting violence.

But it doesn’t always have to be that way. There are great cops out there who love their jobs and just want to help their communities.

Like this Springfield, Massachussetts Officer who was caught on camera playing Pokemon Go with a young boy.

The photo was posted by Elizabeth Perez and shared by Western Mass news.

Perez posted the photos with the comment:

“Caught this beautiful shot Downtown today of Officer Barberi getting some Pokemon skills from this young man!” she said, “Not all cops are bad just like not all black children despise the law! #‎AllLivesMatter ?#‎Unite ?#‎StopTheViolence.”

Look, if they really want kids to like cops and for officers to understand them, make Pokemon Go comprehension a part of basic training.
