Helpless mom can’t believe what the family dog does to the screaming baby

Dogs are faithful to their owners through thick and thin. Such is the case of Polo, the dog of the Erika Lynn and her family from Baltimore. When a terrible disaster happened, he proved his loyalty in the biggest way.

Since the birth of Erika’s daughter, Polo fell in love with the little Viviana, never leaving her side. But one day there was a terrible accident: Polo and Viviana were napping when a fire broke out in the house. Erika had just stepped outside to her car. Polo and Viviana were suddenly trapped upstairs by the fire.

Erika heard her 8 month old daughter screaming and tried desperately to save her, but the heat was too much. Neighbors also rushed to help Erika, but no one was able to get to Viviana or Polo. As the firemen finally managed to pull the baby from the burning home, they found something incredible: Viviana was alive! With her, was her faithful friend Polo. He had tried to protect the girl with his body by lying on top of her while the flames roared. Thanks to his bravery, Viviana survived and suffered only minor burns.

Unfortunately Polo died in the fire. Even though she is heartbroken by his loss, Erika will never forget the four-legged guardian angel who saved her baby from the fire.
