She is willing to care for them and protect them at all costs, even if it means putting her own life on the line for their sake. The mama goose in the following video did just that. She approached some unlikely friends to ask them for help in rescuing one of her chicks which was in danger.

The goose walked up to a police car and tapped on the door. The officers got out, finding it quite peculiar that a goose would come up to a car. They followed her and were led to her clutch of hatchlings. One of them had gotten entangled in some rope, so she must have been asking them for help. One of the officers quickly untangled the little guy and they were soon off on their way!
