Gently Touch These Points On A Baby’s Foot And They Will Immediately Stop Crying

One given that certainly accompanies the beautiful and joyful experience of having an infant, is tears! Hungry tears, wet diaper tears, tired tears, uncomfortable tears – these little ones surely have one favorite form of expression, and crying is it.

For most new parents, finding the right solution to soothe the sadness can often be difficult. Many times, we are left feeling completely out of our element, and just plain helpless. As we reach for the tissue box to dry our OWN tears, we dream of (and would pay any amount of money for) the perfect sadness solution!

Finding the right technique to soothe a crying baby isn’t always easy – however, this trick is one that is both simple and effective. Your child’s feet are not only adorable and perfect in every way, but they are also the key to soothing those inconsolable tears.

Reflexology is the ability to relieve pain, promote organ function, and maintain overall body health by applying pressure to various points on the feet, hands, or ears. By simply massaging different spots on those tiny tot’s tootsies, you can comfort your child, cease the tears, and maintain your sanity!

Got Teeth?

If your little one is struggling with teething or ear infection pain, give the tips of their little piggies a gentle rub.

Sneezing And Wheezing

Is your child battling a cold and/or cough? Try massaging the the space underneath the toes (the balls of their feet) in a circular motion.

Tame The Tummy

The arch of the foot is directly correlated to the abdomen, and can certainly soothe stomach struggles! If your baby is suffering from constipation, bloating, or gassiness, put a little pressure on the arch of their feet, while also giving a soft rub.

Growing Up Too Fast

Unfortunately pelvic and hip pain can often accompany the growth spurts of little ones – if this is the case, give their heels a nice massage.

Soothe The Sinuses

If your baby is experiencing a runny nose or sinus related issues, try applying pressure to the center of his/her toes. This will not heal the underlying problem, but it will certainly help to soothe the symptoms!

Being a parent is without-a-doubt one of the most wonderful experiences of our life – but it can certainly be tricky and trying as well! Share these helpful hints with all of your friends and family, and help to soothe babies (and parents) everywhere!
