She Was Forced To Breed Her Whole Life ‘Til She Developed A Tumor. Then, She Was Dumped At A Shelter

Roxy the dog was forced to breed most of her life until she developed a tumor and wasn’t able to give birth anymore. Then, she was dumped at a shelter. When she arrived at the shelter, she was over eight years old and weighed only five pounds.

She has had a rough life and was very scared, but she had a bright future ahead of her. They removed the tumor, which was thankfully benign. But things would get worse before they got better. She suffered from kennel cough and also had a severe eye infection. She had many vet visits where she received treatments.

Days and weeks went by, and Roxy was finally starting to open up and trust her foster mom. She went from being used solely for breeding, to feeling love for the first time. Soon after, Roxy found her forever family! They also already had a dog who looked just like Roxy, and the two got along great. And now, Roxy couldn’t be happier!
