Alkaline Water Kills Cancer Cells – Here Is How To Make It At Home

One of the secrets to health is keeping a slightly alkaline body. An easy way to do this, and reduce your cancer risk in the process, is by making your own alkaline water.
If you have a large supermarket or health food store nearby, you may have noticed bottled alkaline water for sale. Unfortunately, this stuff isn’t cheap.
A bottle here or there won’t break the bank, but you’ll want to drink this stuff every day to see the health benefits – which can include cancer prevention!
There’s an easy and inexpensive way to make your own alkaline water, but first let’s talk about why alkalinity even matters.
Back in the 1930’s, Dr. Otto Warburg, a Nobel Laureate, discovered that cancer cells can’t grow in the presence of oxygen.
All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous. – Dr. Otto Warburg
Alkaline environments are highly oxygenated, which is one reason why alkaline water may prevent or fight off cancer.
In case you’re wondering, the acidity or alkalinity of a substance is actually measured by the pH scale. If you’ve ever taken a chemistry course in high school or college, you might remember that the pH scale ranges from 0 to 14, where 0 is the most acidic, 14 is alkaline, and 7 is neutral.
Under ideal circumstances, the body can maintain its normal pH balance of around 7.4, which is slightly on the alkaline side of neutral. This is what you want!
Unfortunately, modern diets, toxic chemicals and stress can make you slightly acidic on the inside.
That’s bad!
If you’re already consuming a processed foods or sugar-laden diet, you’re not getting the nutrients that your body requires to support good health. Both processed foods and sugar, along with caffeine and alcohol, are highly acid-forming. Consuming such a diet can push your further down the pH scale and into an acid environment.
According to Dr. David Williams:
Maintaining this slightly alkaline state is a constant challenge, primarily because of the acid-forming functions that take place within the body, and the overabundance of acid-producing foods we consume.
An acidic body can lead to digestion issues, fatigue, impaired immunity and weight gain.
Dr. Williams also notes that an overly acidic body by definition has reduced oxygen levels. Therefore, the symptoms of having an unbalanced pH can include:
1. Chronic fatigue
2. Shortness of breath
3. Frequent sighing
4. Muscle pain after taking short walks
5. Feeling like you can’t get enough air or oxygen
Saliva pH test strips can more accurately determine whether or not you’re truly acidic on the inside. It just so happens that the saliva in your mouth closely mirrors blood pH levels, which means you don’t have to prick yourself with a needle!
Switching over to an alkaline foods based diet can help bring your body back into balance. You should also drink alkaline water daily to maintain optimal health.
