8-year-old girl chases down kidnapper, saves baby brother stolen from playground

A pair of children became local heroes after they rescued their baby brother from a daylight kidnapping. 8-year-old Delicia Wright and her 10-year-old brother Brenden were playing in the park by their babysitter’s home when a teenager snatched their 22-month-old brother Owen from his stroller. Delicia screamed and ran after the kidnapper with Brenden following with the stroller. A pair of teenage boys overheard the commotion and came to the Wright children’s aid.

The kidnapper became frightened of his pursuers and abandoned Owen in a nearby parking lot. The entire event was captured on nearby security cameras and the kidnapper was quickly arrested. A bystander, who wishes to remain anonymous, witnessed the Wright children’s bravery and awarded each child with a surprise $100 as a thank you gift for doing the right thing.
